Nationals Lodging Policy
The Youth Baseball Nationals is a “stay to play” event. In order to be placed in the tournament, all teams are required to book their lodging through our housing partner, Team Travel Source.Team Travel Source has secured specially discounted rates with the top hotels in the area. Please read the important lodging policy information below!
Team Travel Source, our housing partner, has negotiated the best possible rates with the top lodging partners in the area and give you plenty of options to choose from. All teams that book their rooms through our housing service,Team Travel Source, will receive specially discounted rates that are lower than you can obtain directly through the respective hotel websites.
Your team MUST be registered for the tournament and initial deposit paid before you will be eligible to book your lodging.
To begin the process, please click on the Group Block Request button below, enter the number of rooms your team requires and submit the request. One of the Team Travel Source staff members will contact you to setup your block, and provide you with instructions on how to make individual reservations under the team block. Any reservations booked through a third party provider (i.e. hotels.com, Expedia, Hotwire, etc.), booked directly, or through any other method other than through Team Travel Source will NOT fulfill the lodging requirement and those teams WILL NOT be placed in the tournament*. There is a minimum 56 room nights per team required (i.e. 8 rooms for 7 nights). We enforce this policy due to both our coordination with our lodging partners for room inventory control/management and due to the revenue share we receive from our lodging partners. This revenue share has been factored in and discounted from the team entry fees.
Teams within a 60-mile drive radius that choose to commute to the facility each day may fill out the Local Team Lodging Waiver Request form to adhere to the Nationals lodging policy and avoid a lodging surcharge. If you are within a 60-mile drive radius and still plan on staying overnight, you are required to book your lodging through Team Travel Source.
*ALTERNATIVE LODGING REQUESTS
If your team desires to stay outside of the Nationals Hotel Group (i.e. campgrounds, RV parks, with relatives, etc.), or otherwise do not wish to book through our stated procedures (i.e. using rewards points, discount clubs, hotels outside the Nationals Hotel Group, etc.) then you may make an Alternative Lodging Request. However, please note, because of the considerations listed above, and because our revenue share with our lodging partners has been factored in and discounted from the tournament entry fees, any teams that request alternative lodging or do not complete their lodging arrangements through Team Travel Source, will incur a lodging surcharge of $1,250 that will be added to your team entry fee and must be paid with your team’s final balance payment.
