This year’s Nationals opening ceremonies are bigger and better than ever, now featuring on-field activities and full team recognition!

After the official ceremonies, each team will participate in a series of exciting competitions, including:

Important Reminders: Coaches must arrive at the coaches’ meeting time. Time and Location TBD.

Day of POOL PLAY

Spend your time at the beautiful parks for some great competition and fun! Compete in pool play games against other teams in your selected skill division (D1, D2, D3).

NATIONALS MIXER/PIN TRADING

Then join us at the Monday Night Mixer – an unforgettable, FREE, and family-friendly event where YOUR team takes center stage! Feel the energy with live music, epic pin trading, fun activities, delicious food and drinks, and of course, non-stop FUN for everyone!

FAMILY FUN DAY

TAKE THE DAY OFF! Enjoy wild rides, water slides or museum tours during your team’s day off to explore your Nationals vacation location! Players and coaches receive FREE passes to our amusement park partners & parents get exclusive discounts to join them!

Day 6

ELIMINATION ROUNDS

Single elimination begins on Wednesday! After finishing their time playing at the Nationals, each team has their own personalized awards ceremony, where photos can be taken! All players receive a Nationals ring.

Day 7

CHAMPIONSHIP THURSDAY

Finalists compete for the coveted title of Youth Baseball Nationals CHAMPIONS! Wrapping up the week of a lifetime! Each team has their own personalized awards ceremony, where photos can be taken & All Tournament Teams are announced! All players receive a Nationals ring.

Refund Policy
Once a registration fee is paid for an event (applies to team events), no cash, check or credit card refunds will be issued for any reason, unless Youth Baseball Nationals cancels the event in advance to the event due to insufficient enrollment. If a team registers and subsequently is unable to participate, provided reasonable notification in writing prior to the release of schedules, the following refund/credit policy applies:

Team can be transferred to another Youth Baseball Nationals Tournament, subject to availability
Team can receive a full credit, valid through the following season; or
Team can transfer the credit to another team and receive compensation from the transferee team

In case of a team event being canceled or shortened at any time due to inclement weather and/or field conditions, Youth Baseball Nationals will issue credits as follows:

0 Games: 100% credit toward a future Youth Baseball Nationals event in 2026 or 2027
1 Game: 50% credit toward a future Youth Baseball Nationals event in 2026 or 2027
2nd Game Started: 25% credit toward a future Youth Baseball Nationals event in 2026 or 2027
2 or more Games Completed: No credits Due

If an event is canceled for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to insufficient participation and/or weather, Youth Baseball Nationals shall not be responsible for reimbursement for travel, travel related expenses, and/or entertainment expenses, including but not limited to airfare, rental cars, ground transportation, hotel accommodations, vacation packages, sporting event tickets, theme park passes, dining reservations, etc.

Hotel Information

All Softball World Series events are STAY-TO-PLAY. In order to participate in the tournaments, all teams are required to book their lodging through Athletx Travel. Athletx Travel has secured specially discounted rates with the top properties in the area. If you choose not to book your lodging through Athletx Travel, you will be required to pay an alternative lodging fee. Contact hotels-softballworldseries@athletx.com for alternative lodging inquiries. If you are considered local to an event (within 75 miles) please let us know so we can verify and get you noted as compliant. If within 2 weeks of the event, Athletx Travel will not be an option and the alternative lodging fee will automatically applied unless the team is considered local.

frequently asked questions

What day should we arrive and depart?

We recommend planning to arrive on the day before the Opening Ceremonies so your team is ready to go first thing in the morning. Opening Ceremonies kick off your Nationals experience with check-in, team introductions, coaches’ meetings, and the Team Showcase.

On the final day of the tournament, the championship games are played, and closing ceremonies are held. However, each team’s closing experience is dependent on their last game; some may finish on Wednesday, while others could play through Thursday’s championships. Teams can usually plan to depart once their final game (and closing ceremony) is complete.

I ordered entertainment passes, when do I get them?

All pre-ordered Entertainment Passes will be available for pickup at the Opening Ceremonies at the Entertainment Pass station. After the Opening Ceremonies (Day 1), passes can be picked up at the FanShop (merchandise tent).

Deadline: All pre-ordered passes must be picked up before the end of Pool Play.
Important: Passes will not be available at the Entertainment Park itself. If you arrive at the park without your pass, you will need to purchase a ticket directly from the park at their posted price.
Team Passes: Coaches will receive all player and coach passes at the Coaches Meeting during Opening Ceremonies.
Refund Policy: All pre-ordered passes purchased through Youth Nationals are non-refundable.

I did not order Entertainment Passes. Can I still get them?

Yes! Entertainment Passes can be purchased at our FanShop (merchandise tent) anytime before the end of Pool Play.

Please note: Passes are not available for sale at the Entertainment Park at our special discounted rate. If you wait to buy them at the park, you’ll need to purchase tickets directly from them at their regular gate price.

I ordered Tournament Shirts. When do I get them?

Your coach will receive all pre-ordered tournament shirts for your team at the Coaches Meeting during Opening Ceremonies. Coaches are responsible for distributing shirts to their players and families.

Please note: If your coach does not pick up your team’s shirts, they will be available for pickup at the FanShop (merchandise tent) until the end of Pool Play.

My team needs to finish completing their registration. Where can this be done?

Your Team Contact can log into your Team Portal here. Your Team Portal must be 100% complete at least one month before the event, and any team whose portal is not complete by this deadline will not be placed on the schedule (released one week before the event).

What are the player eligibility requirements?

Each team may include up to two players who qualify under the grade-based eligibility exception:

One player may be born after January 1 of the calendar year of the event.
One player may be born within 30 days of the age cutoff.

If a team exceeds this two-player limit, they will be required to play in the next age division up. Failure to comply with this rule (by rostering more than two players above the specified requirements) will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament.

Is your tournament Stay to Play? How can I book my hotel?

Youth Nationals is a Stay to Play Option tournament. All hotels must be booked through Athletx Travel unless you opt out of the Stay to Play Option by electing Alternative Lodging. You can view the lodging guide and book your hotels by clicking on this link.

My team is participating in pin trading. Where can I purchase pins and how do we know how many pins to order?

You can purchase pins from anywhere you wish! For more information, please visit the pin trading page.

My team is wanting to fundraise in order to attend the Youth Nationals. Where can I find out more information for Team Raise?

When will the game schedule be released?

The game schedule will be available one week prior to the event.

When will pre-order entertainment passes and t-shirts be available?

We will send out an email to notify all parents and coaches as soon as pre-orders open. If you have any questions in the meantime, please contact us at support.ybn@athletx.com.

Do we bring our own uniforms or do The Youth Nationals provide uniforms to players?

Team are responsible for bringing their own uniforms to play in.

What skills do we compete in during the team showcase?

Teams will participate in the following: Road Runner, Golden Arm, Homerun Derby, and Around the Horn. All information for the Team Showcase can be found here.

What is your refund/credit policy?

Once your registration fee is paid, please note the following:

No cash, check, or credit card refunds will be issued for any reason, unless the event is canceled by the host due to low attendance or canceled due to inclement weather.
This policy applies to all registrations, regardless of the reason for withdrawal.

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, here’s what you need to know:

We will do everything reasonably possible to complete the event.
If an event is completely canceled due to weather or field conditions:
- You will be given the option to transfer your registration to another Athletx Sports Group event in the upcoming season or the next season. Transfers are subject to event availability and registration deadlines.
- OR if we cannot find an alternate event then we will issue a refund.
We are not responsible for travel, lodging, or any other expenses related to a canceled or relocated event.

Last-Minute Drops:
If you cancel or drop out within 2 weeks of your scheduled event, you will not receive a credit for a future event.

Can I transfer my registration to another event or brand?
Yes! If you’re unable to attend your originally scheduled event, you can transfer your registration to another Athletx Sports Group tournament — even if it’s under a different brand like Baseball Youth or Softball Youth.

We’re happy to help you make the switch. Just reach out to us, and we’ll assist you in finding a suitable event. Our brands work closely together, and we’re flexible when it comes to helping families make the most of their registration.
